About the position
As an Anaplan Model Builder at Cervello, a Kearney company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing financial planning, HR planning, supply chain transparency, and sales and marketing results through connected planning architectures. This position requires a blend of functional and technical expertise in Anaplan, along with a background in consulting and experience in implementing end-to-end projects. You will work collaboratively with clients to provide practical guidance and solutions, contributing to diverse consulting projects.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to diverse consulting projects, enhancing financial planning and operational management systems.
- Implement full end-to-end projects in Anaplan, from scoping and requirements to design, build, testing, and training.
- Maintain shared services, metadata, security, and artifact objects.
- Design and create dashboards and financial reports using Smartview.
- Develop and configure Hyperion Planning, including writing complex business rules.
- Facilitate process change with clients and advise senior management confidently.
- Develop design documentation that is well-structured and comprehensive.
- Conduct system testing and performance tuning of the Anaplan model.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of business consulting/implementation experience with Anaplan or similar multi-dimensional systems.
- Subject matter expertise in financial or operational management systems, including financial modeling expertise.
- Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound).
- Excellent understanding of accounting fundamentals including P&L, BS, and CF.
- Ability to translate model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of at least 2 industry verticals (e.g., Pharma, Finance, Energy) preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in cross-functional teams involving technical and functional consultants and end users.
- Technical knowledge for troubleshooting and analyzing data.
- Experience in developing solution roadmaps and writing user stories.
