About the position

The Catering Server at McMenamins Anderson School is responsible for providing exceptional service during catered events, ensuring a positive experience for guests. This role involves setting up and breaking down events, serving food and beverages, and maintaining customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and break down events from small meetings to large gatherings.
• Serve food in various styles including fine dining and buffet.
• Pour and serve alcoholic beverages, checking IDs as necessary.
• Wait on and bus tables, providing coffee and water service.
• Reset event spaces and restock supplies as needed.
• Wash dishes and perform general cleaning duties.
• Attend to customer needs and maintain positive customer relations.
• Assist customers and guests with questions and requests.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and work with numbers.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
