Responsibilities

• Assist senior developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining Android Automotive OS apps or mobile apps for the automotive industry.
• Write and maintain code in Kotlin and Java, contributing to the development of cutting-edge automotive applications.
• Learn to debug and troubleshoot software issues, working alongside experienced developers to identify and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with designers, fellow developers, and other team members to ensure app functionality, usability, and a seamless user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in computer science, software engineering, or a related degree program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, Flutter, or other relevant development tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Passion for software development and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the field.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Ability to perform work onsite in Farmington Hills, MI.
