About the position

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications for the Android platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to Android development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Android application development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts and server-side technologies.
• Experience with SQL databases for data management within applications.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Swift, C, .NET, JSP, or SOAP is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
