About the position

The Android Developer Lead is responsible for managing a team of developers to deliver high-quality native Android applications across various devices, including phones, tablets, IoT, and AR. This role involves collaborating with designers and product teams, creating test cases, fixing bugs, optimizing app performance, and ensuring a high-quality user experience. The lead will also mentor team members and provide guidance to enhance their skills and performance.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of developers to ensure quality feature delivery.
• Designing and building native Android apps for phones, tablets, IoT, and AR.
• Collaborating with designers to turn design templates into apps.
• Working with product teams to understand product features.
• Creating test cases and plans to ensure app and SDK quality.
• Identifying and fixing bugs in existing apps.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of live apps.
• Ensuring products meet brand values and maintain a high-quality user experience.
• Mentoring and providing feedback to teammates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Android development and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of native Android app development.
• Experience with app performance monitoring and optimization.
• Ability to create test cases and plans for quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving skills for bug identification and fixing.
