Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated features in Client Android applications.
• Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for Android platform.
• Analyze and optimize Android applications.
• Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.
• Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments and release management process.
• Analyze business requirements and work in an agile development environment.
• Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to develop high-level designs.
• Lead small groups of engineers in project execution.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues.
• Ensure inclusion of business vision and industry trends in project outcomes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Utilize standard tools for optimizing and testing code.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience building native Android apps in Java/Kotlin.
• Experience shipping one or more Android applications available in the Google PlayStore.
• Technical lead experience for a team.
• Significant role in delivering complex projects.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript.
