About the position

The Select Group is seeking a skilled Android Developer to join one of their leading telecommunication clients in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is a long-term contract with the potential for conversion to a permanent role. The work environment is hybrid, requiring the developer to be onsite three days a week and allowing for remote work two days a week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kotlin and native Android development, with a strong focus on enhancing the Android Spectrum TV application, which currently serves over 1 million users. This role will involve hands-on development, where the developer will be responsible for implementing new features and improvements to the application, ensuring a seamless user experience and maintaining high performance standards. The Android Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as the developer will need to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance. The successful candidate will be expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains competitive and user-friendly.
