About the position

The Android Developer position is a full-time role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining applications for the Android platform. The developer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
