About the position

The Lead Android Developer will be a key member of the Digital Engineering team, responsible for developing and enhancing mobile applications for a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies. This role requires extensive experience in Android development, particularly with Kotlin and Java, and a strong understanding of modern development practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain code quality and organization through best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Android Kotlin/Java development.
• 2+ years of experience in Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with RxJava development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack, MVVM architecture, and UI design principles.
• Proficient in using Git/Bitbucket and JIRA/Atlassian tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
