About the position

The Android Developer position is a contract opportunity focused on designing, implementing, and testing a maps application using OEM SDK API documentation and product requirements. The role involves collaboration with senior developers and API developers to create end-to-end user features, ensuring the application meets specifications and provides a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test the maps app based on OEM SDK API documentation and product requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior developers and API developers to implement end-to-end user features including UI, storage, and networking components.
• Provide feedback to the API developers.
• Validate the API with its specifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android software development.
• 3+ years of experience in application development with user interfaces.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in Android Development, Android SDK, and coding in Java/Kotlin.
• Kotlin programming experience.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience in the Automotive industry, specifically in Headunit and Infotainment software development.
• Experience in on-device API development.
• Experience in building maps applications using Mapbox SDK or MapLibre SDK.
