We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native Android development, particularly with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. This role involves working on various features and enhancements for our mobile applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as maintain and improve existing applications. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing test automation strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Experience with feature flagging and continuous delivery practices will be a significant advantage, as we aim to streamline our deployment processes. Familiarity with Retrofit for network operations is also a plus, as it will be essential for integrating with our backend services. This is a hybrid role based in Chanhassen, MN, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work. The successful candidate will be expected to commute to the office as needed and may need to relocate to the area before starting work. The position offers a competitive salary range of $123,362 to $128,273 per year, commensurate with experience.
