About the position

The Android Software Engineer with Kotlin is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining Android and Kotlin Multiplatform code across various platforms and devices. This role involves leading medium to large projects, providing code feedback to peers, and developing user-friendly front-end experiences. The engineer will also integrate and maintain vendor SDKs while proactively identifying and addressing potential project roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain Android and Kotlin Multiplatform code.
• Lead medium/large projects.
• Provide thorough and timely code feedback to peers.
• Identify and address potential roadblocks, proposing innovative solutions.
• Develop simplified front-end experiences for patrons.
• Integrate and maintain vendor SDKs.

Requirements

• At least four (4) years of Android development experience.
• At least three (3) years of Kotlin programming experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience publishing or participating in publishing Android apps for an enterprise.
• Experience with the Android SDK.
• Experience working with remote data via REST APIs and JSON.
• Strong working knowledge of continuous delivery & build automation tools.
