NTT DATA is seeking an Android Developer to join our team in Dallas/Westlake, Texas. This position offers a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to be in the office for two weeks each month. As part of a Mobile Platform squad, the Android Developer will be responsible for building and supporting a scalable and highly reliable Android platform for native mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development, particularly in Android, and will be passionate about crafting outstanding user experiences. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing iOS or Android applications using Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C, with a solid understanding of RESTful web services. Candidates should have participated in the release of at least one publicly available app, contributing from inception to launch, and utilizing automated tooling such as Jenkins. Familiarity with Agile processes, including Scrum and Jira, is essential, as the team operates in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability to change. In addition to mobile development skills, the candidate should have at least 1 year of experience with NodeJS, ExpressJS, or NestJS, and knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly with frameworks like Angular for single-page applications. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, and experience with cloud technology is considered a plus.
