About the position

The Android Developer position is a contract role based in New York City, NY, requiring a skilled individual to develop and maintain Android applications. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI components for Android applications.
• Develop, maintain, and release production Android applications.
• Collaborate with PM, UX, PgM, and QA teams to meet organizational commitments.
• Write UI code in Views to support high-priority roadmap items.
• Conduct design and accessibility reviews for app rollout.
• Assist with the resolution of bug backlog efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Experience with Views libraries.
• Familiarity with Android assistive technologies and Localization/Internationalization.
