About the position

The Sr. Android Developer role is focused on building and optimizing production-level software systems for Android applications. This position requires extensive experience in Android app development, leadership in code review, and performance engineering, with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize production-level Android applications.
• Lead development efforts and review code for quality and performance.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality user experience.
• Utilize Android SDK and Jetpack Compose for application development.
• Implement mobile networking concepts and tools effectively.
• Integrate cloud services such as Firebase or AWS into applications.
• Work with RESTful services for backend integration.
• Utilize Adobe Tag Manager for analytics and tracking.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in building production-level software systems.
• Expert knowledge in Android app development and application performance engineering.
• Experience as a Developer lead with code review responsibilities.
• Expert understanding of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of mobile networking concepts and tools.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience using cloud services like Firebase or AWS.
• Working knowledge of RESTful services.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Tag Manager.
