As an Android Developer at KPIT Technologies GmbH, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing Android Framework services, including but not limited to Audio, Radio, and Vehicle HAL. This position requires hands-on experience in the automotive domain, particularly with Jetpack components, and the implementation of AOSP functionalities such as core services and HAL features. You will be responsible for writing unit tests, creating CI/CD pipelines, performing static analysis, and fixing bugs to ensure the robustness and reliability of the applications you develop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android platform development, with a specific focus on Android Automotive and the Android AOSP framework. You will be expected to have hands-on coding experience with Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and be proficient in designing and developing Android framework interfaces and services. Customization and modification of Android framework code will also be a significant part of your responsibilities.
