About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for overseeing field sales and training within a designated geographical area, which includes retail and carrier stores. This role focuses on building relationships, training store associates on Android products, and promoting brand advocacy. The TSM will engage in sales training, product demonstrations, and light merchandising to drive sales and increase market share for Android devices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales training and product demonstrations for retail associates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retail store managers and staff.
  • Lead brand training sessions across various retail locations.
  • Coordinate and lead training events on product features and benefits.
  • Drive sales and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure product displays are consistent with planogram guidelines.
  • Analyze sales and market data to provide consultation for under-performing stores.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to prioritize store visits.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8+ years of combined sales and/or retail sales experience in retail business and/or wireless preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a territory and training in the retail space is required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the technology/consumer electronics industry.
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience in analyzing sales and market data to improve performance against KPIs.
  • Ability to lift 20lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Android devices and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with retail sales strategies and merchandising techniques.
