About the position

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for overseeing field sales and training within a designated geographical area, which includes retail and carrier stores. The TSM will build and maintain relationships, train store sales associates on Android products, and promote the brand. This role is part of a sales training and advocacy program aimed at supporting Android OS and its devices, with a focus on driving sales and increasing market share.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales training and product demonstrations for retail store associates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retail store managers and teams.
  • Coordinate and lead training events on Android devices and features.
  • Drive sales and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure product displays are consistent with planogram guidelines.
  • Analyze sales and market data to provide consultation for under-performing stores.
  • Manage performance against assigned directives and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8+ years of combined sales and/or retail sales experience in the wireless industry.
  • Previous experience managing a territory and training in retail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion and knowledge about the technology/consumer electronics industry.
  • Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Android devices and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with retail sales strategies and merchandising.
