About the position

The Anesthesia Technician position involves providing support in the anesthesiology department, ensuring that anesthesia equipment is ready and functioning properly for surgical procedures. This role is critical in assisting anesthesiologists and ensuring patient safety during anesthesia administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia.
• Monitor and maintain the functionality of anesthesia machines and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Document and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
• Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician is required.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings and weekends.
