About the position
This position is for anesthesiologists seeking locum tenens coverage at a level one trauma center located in Silicon Valley. The role offers flexibility in case selection and provides an opportunity to work in a vibrant community known for its cultural richness and recreational activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesiology services for various surgical cases including General, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, Urology, GYN, ENT, Burns, Electrophysiology Lab, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and OB.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Manage anesthesia care for patients in a variety of surgical settings.
Requirements
- Board certification in Anesthesiology or eligibility for certification.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a variety of anesthesiology cases.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty of anesthesiology.
- Previous locum tenens experience.
