About the position
The Anesthesiology Physician Anesthesiologist position involves joining a private practice in Biloxi, MS, where the candidate will work alongside two other anesthesiologists. The group provides 24/7 coverage at a hospital and operates a physician-owned surgery center during weekdays. The practice supports a total of six operating rooms with full CRNA coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a hospital setting and a physician-owned surgery center.
- Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to ensure patient safety and effective anesthesia management.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage as required by the practice.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia care provided.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Mississippi.
- Experience in a similar practice setting is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty of anesthesiology.
- Experience with a variety of anesthesia techniques and procedures.
