About the position
The position is for a Board Certified General Anesthesia Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a facility in Kearney, NE. This role is essential due to the departure of a Medical Doctor Anesthesiologist (MDA) from the group. The physician will handle various anesthesia cases and must be available to work weekends and selected weekdays as per the outlined schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia for various cases
- Handle emergency situations as they arise
- Work weekends and selected weekdays as per the schedule
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Epic)
Requirements
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (REQUIRED)
- NE License or IMLC Certification (REQUIRED)
- Fellowship Training in Anesthesiology (REQUIRED)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP Certifications (REQUIRED)
- Clean Malpractice/Background Record (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Availability (REQUIRED)
