About the position

The Angular 16 ASP.NET Developer position is a contract role focused on providing development and technical support for the ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications. The developer will be responsible for minor enhancements, troubleshooting, and deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise, while also coordinating with various teams to ensure system performance and user access management.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and technical support to the ConEd ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
• Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
• Support ConED Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
• Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications.
• 5-10 years of experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications.
• Development and coding experience using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#).
• Experience in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
• Ability to coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
• Ability to understand requirements and support team and share best practices/lessons learnt.
• Provide status of the tickets to the client SME.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution for issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
• Windows servers knowledge and experience.
• FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
