About the position

Aretum Holdings LLC is seeking a skilled Angular Developer - Frontend to join their team. This role focuses on leveraging Angular expertise to design and implement dynamic web applications that enhance user experiences. The developer will work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create high-performance applications, ensuring robust functionality through API and service integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive web applications using Angular 10+ framework.
  • Implement design specifications and improve user experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in code quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional Angular programming experience
  • Front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and responsive design
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with Agile or SCRUM methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments with at least 1 year of working experience
  • Experience with code repository technologies such as SVN or Git
  • Ability to work with technical staff to understand and develop new web applications, resolve customer complaints with web applications, and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements
  • Ability to participate in the development of software documentation such as version description document and user manuals
  • Strong experience with Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 accessibility requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building 0 to 1, greenfield products
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools
  • Working knowledge of Java
  • Ability to work independently and in an awesome team setting
  • Experience or exposure with automation tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Ant, Maven
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker
  • Exposure to AWS or Other Cloud Technologies
  • Experience or exposure with LDAP, OAuth, AD security, and authentication
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience supporting the federal government
