About the position

This position is for an experienced Angular Developer who will work closely with the trading desk to provide technical support for a futures trading platform. The role involves building and enhancing features of the platform to ensure a seamless user experience while addressing the unique needs of traders and stakeholders. This is a hybrid role that allows for direct collaboration with the trading team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the front-end of the trading platform using Angular.
• Work directly with the trade desk team to understand user needs and develop solutions that improve the trading experience.
• Interface with the customer-facing side of the trade desk to gather requirements and provide technical support.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to architectural decisions around front-end development.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Angular development.
• Trading knowledge is highly preferred; familiarity with trading concepts and platforms is a must.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to speak directly with the trade desk team and interface with internal customers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a trading environment or with financial systems.
• Familiarity with related technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
• Passion for futures trading and the trading technology ecosystem.
