About the position

Akkodis is seeking an Angular Developer for a contract position in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves designing and developing scalable web applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring high-quality deliverables while managing multiple projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI development, particularly with Angular, and will be responsible for implementing UX design principles and maintaining coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable web applications using Angular and related UI frameworks.
• Ensuring efficient handling of non-functional requirements such as performance, throughput, and SLAs.
• Working with advanced HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other web technologies to build responsive, high-quality applications.
• Implementing UX design principles to enhance user experience and interface aesthetics.
• Identifying areas for improvement within the application and implementing optimizations.
• Collaborating with teams to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet project deadlines.
• Maintaining high coding standards and ensuring quality in all deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UI development with strong hands-on expertise in Angular.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and advanced web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of the banking domain, preferably in areas like Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.
