About the position

Akkodis is seeking an Angular Developer for a contract position in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves designing and developing scalable web applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring high-quality deliverables while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable web applications using Angular and related UI frameworks.
• Ensuring efficient handling of non-functional requirements such as performance, throughput, and SLAs.
• Working with advanced HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other web technologies to build responsive, high-quality applications.
• Implementing UX design principles to enhance user experience and interface aesthetics.
• Identifying areas for improvement within the application and implementing optimizations.
• Collaborating with teams to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet project deadlines.
• Maintaining high coding standards and ensuring quality in all deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UI development with strong hands-on expertise in Angular.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and advanced web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of the banking domain, preferably in areas like Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.
