About the position

As an Angular Developer at Cloud Big Data Technologies, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing front-end web applications, prototypes, and proofs of concept (POCs). Your primary responsibility will be to transform functional requirements and wireframes into technical specifications and project test plans. You will serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for AngularJS and lead the front-end development efforts, mentoring fellow developers and demonstrating your technical expertise in solving complex programming and design challenges. This position requires a hands-on approach, with approximately 60-80% of your time dedicated to coding. You will collaborate closely with a designer who will handle the CSS3/HTML5 aspects of the project, allowing you to focus on the core development tasks. In addition to coding, you will be responsible for generating technical documentation and creating PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options to development teams and business users. You will also play a key role in resolving defects during QA testing, UAT, production, and post-release patches. Working within a cross-functional team that includes product management, business analysts, QA, stakeholders, and business units, you will demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected and elegant web applications. Your work will be maintained in a SVN version control repository, and you will be expected to adhere to Agile Development methodologies, including SCRUM and Extreme Programming. The ideal candidate is results-oriented and eager to contribute business value by turning functional requirements into operational code. You will need to have extensive experience in building world-class, public-facing web applications, with a strong understanding of JSON, RESTful web service calls, XML, and SOAP web service calls in the context of AngularJS. Your background should include experience with large-scale single-page applications, service-oriented architectures (SOA), object-oriented design/development, and continuous integration. You should also have a solid understanding of security within web service concepts and be familiar with N-Tier and MVC frameworks. A BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experience is required for this position.
