About the position

The UI / Angular Developer at Hexaware is responsible for building and maintaining Single Page Applications using Angular 8 or above. This role requires a strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in Node.js for developing RESTful web services. The position emphasizes collaboration within Agile teams and maintaining high standards of code quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Single Page Applications using Angular 8 or above.
• Build RESTful web services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure code efficiency and cleanliness through best practices.
• Conduct unit testing using tools like Karma or Jasmine.
• Utilize Git and DevOps for source control activities.
• Work with relational databases and SQL Server for data management.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for application issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Angular, specifically Angular 8 or above.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, JSON, and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js for building RESTful web services.
• Good experience in Java development.
• Experience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps for source control activities.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL Server.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile teams and be a good team player.
• High standards of code efficiency and cleanliness.
• In-depth troubleshooting and support skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and Dynamo DB.
• Experience with RXJS.
• Experience with Micro-frontend architecture (MFE).
