About the position

CGI is seeking an Angular Developer to join their team, providing an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting a major player in the secondary mortgage industry. The role involves designing and implementing responsive single-page applications using Angular, collaborating with product owners and team members, and participating in agile ceremonies. This position is fully remote within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement responsive single-page web applications using Angular framework (preferably Angular 8+)
  • Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects
  • Create or update documentation in support of development efforts, including detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, or design documents
  • Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure adherence to the original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration, and team retrospectives

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in coding in Angular
  • 8+ years of IT experience as a Developer
  • 8+ years of development experience with Angular, with advanced skills, preferably on the latest versions (Angular 8+)
  • Expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
  • Experience in building end-to-end solutions with Angular and integration with backend data services using REST Services
  • Experience in Typescript, designing reusable components and services to consume REST APIs
  • Proficient in writing unit tests using Jasmine/Karma
  • Expertise in triaging and fixing UI scripts and backend interface issues including REST APIs
  • Focus on UI development 80% of the time and 20% of backend development with Java/Spring Boot
  • Experience in building application CICD pipeline using Jenkins
  • Strong time management and work organization
  • Strong verbal and oral communication
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
