About the position

Akkodis is seeking an Angular Developer for a contract position in Richmond, VA (Hybrid). The role involves designing and developing large-scale distributed enterprise applications while serving as the subject matter expert for integration activities. The developer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile development processes to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate services for large-scale distributed enterprise applications using Angular and Node.js.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the application, coordinating development and integration activities across teams.
• Modify and maintain architecture components and application interfaces, ensuring principal architecture integrity is upheld.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, including integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technology leaders and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues, enhancing application performance and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically with Angular.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying applications using Angular and Node.js, with a strong background in REST API development.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, with proficiency in SQL and database management (preferably Oracle).
