About the position

We are seeking an experienced Angular Front End Software Developer to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on building innovative trading technology solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Angular development and a passion for creating user-friendly applications that enhance trading experiences.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with frontend team, backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality applications using Angular.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and competitive.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of Angular Front End Software development experience.
• Strong front end portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in Angular.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular frameworks (Angular 2+).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Angular applications to backend services.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
