About the position

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Angular JS Senior Developer to join their team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on creating user personas, designing journey maps, and developing user interfaces using Angular JS and other modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX/UI design principles and experience in migrating applications from Angular JS to the latest Angular versions.

Responsibilities

• Create User Persona
• Design Journey Maps
• Wireframe Design
• UX Design
• UI Prototyping using tools like iRise, Axure, Sketch, InDesign, JustInMind
• Implement Design Thinking methodologies
• Develop using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular JS
• Conduct Usability Testing and ensure Accessibility standards are met
• Work on API Rest Integration and Web Socket Integration
• Collaborate in an AGILE environment for project delivery
• Propose Angular architecture for migration projects

Requirements

• Proven programming skills in Angular JS and Angular 13
• Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and JQuery
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in understanding and proposing JS architecture
• Demonstrated ability to work in an AGILE environment
• Migration experience from Angular JS to the latest Angular
• Practical knowledge of AngularJS and Angular 4
• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to write cross-browser compatible code

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular material
• Knowledge of IIDX for defined standards
• Experience with Push Notification Integration
• Familiarity with RXJS and Event Bus
