About the position

The Angular Software Architect will be responsible for leading the architectural design and development of complex Angular applications. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance web applications are built while adhering to best practices in scalability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of complex Angular applications, ensuring best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, Angular Dev Leads, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and effective use of design patterns.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on projects and making recommendations for adoption.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, coding standards, and development processes.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze application performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and application responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a similar relevant degree.
• 10+ years' experience in Angular with Responsive Design (Desktop and Mobile responsive).
• 7+ years' experience in CSS development and Accessibility Standards.
• 5+ years of REST API integration and testing.
• 5+ years of Agile development / Business feature development experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, Playwright/Jasmine testing, and RESTful API integration.
• DevOps experience with tools such as Bitbucket/GitHub, Confluence, Jira, and Jenkins.
