About the position

We are seeking a seasoned Angular UI Developer to join our team in Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This position is a contract role that offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days onsite and two days remote. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in developing user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The role demands a strong proficiency in coding and a deep understanding of UI development principles. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a screening process, including an EP screening before submission to the hiring manager. The interview process consists of a one-hour video interview focused primarily on coding skills, with an emphasis on Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, followed by a two-hour in-person interview that will take place in either Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This in-person interview will focus entirely on coding in JavaScript. We are looking for candidates who are not only skilled but also available for the outlined interview process. This position is open to W2 candidates only, and applicants must be located nearby to the work locations. The expected hours for this role are 40 hours per week, and the pay ranges from $60.27 to $68.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement UI components.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Angular UI development.
  • 5 years of experience in JavaScript development.
  • 5 years of experience in HTML development.
  • 8 years of experience in CSS development.
  • Strong understanding of UI development principles and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with responsive design techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
