About the position

The Angular UI Developer will be responsible for developing robust Angular UI applications from scratch for a financial firm. This role involves migrating applications from on-premises to cloud services, building enterprise data platforms, and ensuring high-quality user experiences through scalable and resilient applications. The developer will work closely with business partners and peers in an agile environment to achieve business goals and improve products and services.

Responsibilities

• Build Enterprise Data Platform that provides a robust and flexible platform to get data in different formats from several external banks, respondents, and internal systems within the bank.
• Design and develop scalable, resilient, and observable applications.
• Build robust UI components that provide a rich user experience.
• Develop applications with high test automation and code coverage.
• Work on migrating applications from on-premises location to cloud service providers.
• Develop, modify, and extend code for building cloud infrastructure, and automate using CI/CD pipeline.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them.
• Actively participate in code reviews.
• Partner with business and peers in the pursuit of solutions that achieve business goals through an agile software development methodology.
• Perform problem analysis, data analysis, reporting, and communication.
• Work with peers across the system to define and implement best practices and standards.
• Assess applications and help determine the appropriate application infrastructure patterns.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external drivers to improve products or services.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of Angular UI experience
• Expert level knowledge in writing performant Angular code following best practices
• Expert in writing HTML5 tags and CSS preprocessor SCSS concepts
• Advanced knowledge about Angular component life cycle, dependency injection, lazy routing, guards, reactive forms, material components, and animations
• Proficient in NgRx for complex Angular State Management
• Familiar with advanced Angular debugging, theming, and CSS flex rendering
• Passionate about writing unit/integration tests in Angular using mocking, proxying, etc.
• Familiar with integration of frontend with Java-based backend applications
• Understanding of Java, Python, and SQL is preferred
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications in AWS platform is preferred
• Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation using GITLAB pipeline is preferred
