About the position

The Angular/UI Developer position is focused on enhancing UI-based platforms and technologies within the climate risk sector. The role requires a senior-level developer with extensive experience in Angular and related technologies to work on multiple ongoing projects for enterprise clients. The position emphasizes a mix of UI, Java, database, and agile skillsets, and is expected to last for 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain and improve existing applications and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 7-8 years of experience in software development, particularly with Angular.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with enterprise clients.
• Strong soft skills for effective communication and collaboration.
• Solid project tenure and experience in long-term projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with React framework.
• Background in financial services, particularly with Bank of America.
