About The Position
An Animal Care Keeper (giraffe, carnivore, primate) is responsible for ensuring the care, husbandry, and welfare of animals within the zoo. They work to educate visitors, create diets for animals, and ensure comfort and compliance with their natural habitats. They are an important member of the zoo staff and ensures the animals are properly cared for. This position will work with our giraffes, tigers, cheetahs, spider monkeys, clouded leopard, and various other species in this area of the zoo.
