About The Position
The Animal Control Officer is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal laws regarding the treatment and harboring of animals. This role involves capturing and removing stray, abused, abandoned, and injured animals, investigating reports of animal neglect and abuse, and educating the community on responsible pet ownership. The officer will work closely with various animal agencies and organizations dedicated to animal welfare.
