Responsibilities

  • Enforce animal laws and ordinances.
  • Investigate alleged violations of animal laws and ordinances.
  • Issue citations and warnings to violators.

  • Engage with the community to address animal-related issues.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school education.
  • One year of experience in the care of domestic animals.
  • Possession of a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment.
  • Possession of Arkansas Certification of Training for Animal Euthanasia within six months of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment.
