About the position

The Videographer position is a temporary, part-time role for a 2-day Anime and Japanese convention in Tucson, AZ. The selected candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and still images during the event, showcasing the vibrant atmosphere and activities of the convention. The role requires a creative individual with a passion for videography and an understanding of the anime culture.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video content during the convention.
• Take still photographs to complement video footage.

• Ensure the capturing of moments, emotions, and actions effectively.
• Prioritize creating quality video content over quantity.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in videography (required).
• 1 year of experience in video editing (required).
• 1 year of experience in photography (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in photo editing (preferred).
• Event experience of at least 1 year (preferred).
• Ability to relocate to Tucson, AZ before starting work (required).

• Experience with Anime/Comic Con conventions.
