About the position

As an Annuities Internal Wholesaler at Prudential, you will collaborate with an External Wholesaler to drive sales and manage relationships within the independent broker dealer channel. Your role will focus on increasing revenue by providing expert product insights and fostering strong connections with financial professionals. This hybrid position requires regular on-site presence, allowing you to effectively support your territory's profitability through strategic sales execution and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for financial professionals in the independent broker dealer channel, providing expert product information and insights.
  • Grow and manage the profitability of your territory through effective sales execution and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize telephone and virtual technologies to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, proactively engaging them in new opportunities.
  • Assist individuals in finding financial solutions to meet their needs, fostering peace of mind and stability.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Financial Services sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of annuities and related concepts.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 (or 7, 66) and State Insurance license required.
  • Ability to drive results and increase presence and market share.

Nice-to-haves

  • Internal sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with independent broker dealers is a plus.
  • Appetite for understanding market trends impacting the business with a desire to seek continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
