About the position

As an Annuities Internal Wholesaler at Prudential, you will collaborate with an External Wholesaler to drive revenue growth in a designated sales territory focused on the independent broker dealer channel. Your role will involve building and managing relationships with financial professionals, providing them with expert product knowledge, and promoting Prudential's Variable Annuities solutions. This hybrid position requires regular on-site presence as determined by business needs, allowing you to engage with clients effectively and support their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for financial professionals in the independent broker dealer channel, providing expert product information and insights.
  • Develop and manage the profitability of your territory through effective sales execution and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize telephone and virtual technologies to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, proactively engaging them in new opportunities.
  • Assist clients in finding solutions to their financial needs, fostering peace of mind and stability.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Financial Services sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of annuities and related concepts.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 (or 7, 66) and State Insurance license required.
  • Ability to drive results and increase presence and market share.

Nice-to-haves

  • Internal sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with independent broker dealers is a plus.
  • Appetite for understanding market trends impacting the business with a desire to seek continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
