About the position

ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. We provide thought leadership for complex issues through independent analysis, and we deliver practical, useful solutions. ANSER values collaboration, integrity, and initiative and we are client focused in all that we do. Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service. ANSER's Analyst Apprenticeship Program (AAP) offers exciting opportunities to recent masters program graduates who have limited work experience but want to focus on enhancing and applying their analytic, technical and business skills in support of critical National missions. During the apprenticeship, emphasis will be placed on developing critical professional competencies through execution of a range of technical and business-related tasks and activities; attendance to different technical trainings, lunch and learn sessions and other presentations; part-time support to appropriate client projects (if available); and one-on-one mentoring aimed at understanding ANSER's culture, corporate operations, and requirements of working in a professional environment with government clients. After 3 months of apprenticeship and mentoring, AAP analysts are transitioned to ANSER divisions that match their academic training and practical experience areas for full time client work in support of various government agencies and missions.
