About the position

The Antenna Systems Engineer will provide aerospace systems engineering support, focusing on antennas and antenna systems for various applications including communications, radar, electronic warfare, and TT&C. This role involves engaging with customers, developing technical proposals, and supporting verification activities, making it crucial for capturing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Development of antenna architecture solutions.
  • Engage with customers to perform needs analysis, operational concepts, and tradeoff analysis for antenna system opportunities.
  • Technical review of customer requirements and support decomposition of system level requirements to hardware and software requirements.
  • Provide competitive analysis and risk analysis to support decision making by executive leadership and program management teams.
  • Support verification activities by working with systems and test engineers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10+) years engineering experience in antenna systems development.
  • Experience providing technical content for proposals as well as cost and schedule estimation.
  • Experience in the development of antenna systems used in airborne, ground, and maritime applications.
  • Experience developing and presenting technical content at formal reviews including planning, requirements, design, verification, and production readiness.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines in an Integrated Product Team environment.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical study.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree or coursework in Antenna/RF Engineering/Systems Engineering is desirable.
