About the position
The Antenna Systems Engineer will provide aerospace systems engineering support, focusing on antennas and antenna systems for various applications including communications, radar, electronic warfare, and TT&C. This role involves engaging with customers, developing technical proposals, and supporting verification activities, making it crucial for capturing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Development of antenna architecture solutions.
- Engage with customers to perform needs analysis, operational concepts, and tradeoff analysis for antenna system opportunities.
- Technical review of customer requirements and support decomposition of system level requirements to hardware and software requirements.
- Provide competitive analysis and risk analysis to support decision making by executive leadership and program management teams.
- Support verification activities by working with systems and test engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10+) years engineering experience in antenna systems development.
- Experience providing technical content for proposals as well as cost and schedule estimation.
- Experience in the development of antenna systems used in airborne, ground, and maritime applications.
- Experience developing and presenting technical content at formal reviews including planning, requirements, design, verification, and production readiness.
- Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines in an Integrated Product Team environment.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical study.
Nice-to-haves
- Graduate degree or coursework in Antenna/RF Engineering/Systems Engineering is desirable.
