About the position
The Littlestown Area School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Science Teacher for 7th and 8th grades. The role emphasizes student success within a collaborative team environment, aiming to empower learners and inspire future innovators. The position is full-time and will commence on January 15, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Teach 7th and 8th grade science curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance student learning.
- Engage students in hands-on and inquiry-based learning activities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education is required.
- Proper PDE Certification required.
- Additional PA certifications preferred.
