About the position

The AOG Technician role at Flexjet involves providing 24/7 mobile support for aircraft on the ground (AOG) maintenance events. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and efficient service to customers during maintenance events, coordinating necessary resources, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role offers a unique one week on/one week off schedule, ensuring work-life balance while providing excellent pay and industry-leading benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Mobile Team/AOG support during assigned scheduled shift.
• Act as the central point of contact for customers during AOG maintenance events.
• Coordinate and organize necessary tooling for maintenance events.
• Coordinate with the support center on project status and travel arrangements.
• Maintain the mobile vehicle's interior and exterior appearance.
• Ensure the team follows all company policies regarding professionalism and attire.
• Maintain accurate work records for quick processing of work orders.
• Ensure all work complies with the Repair Station Manual requirements.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond immediately to any AOG call while on shift.
• Manage all expenses and expense reports, collaborating with the local Business Administrator for reporting and billing.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships, reaching out to customers while offsite.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Previous corporate AOG experience (3-plus years) required
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required
• Airframe structural/composite repair experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and effectively coordinate with multiple departments
• Planning and organizational skills necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer/technology skills
