About the position

The AP/AR Accounting Clerk at AdientOne India Private Limited is responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, including client and tenant interactions, billing disputes, and collection activities for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in financial software, particularly Yardi, to ensure accurate financial reporting and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Engage in phone conversations with clients and tenants regarding billing and collections.
• Coordinate collection activities for rent and associated charges.
• Address and resolve billing disputes or issues with properties.
• Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for tenant portfolios.
• Maintain customer accounts and perform the billing process.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and accounting documents.
• Process transactions such as disbursements and cash receipts.
• Reconcile records with internal employees and external vendors or customers.
• Investigate discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi financial software is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with GAAP and FASB regulations.
