About the position

The AP/AR Administrator is responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, resolving vendor inquiries, and applying customer payments. This role serves as a key resource for communication between Tree Top personnel and vendors, focusing on maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions accurately.
  • Verify goods received and record invoice transactions.
  • Resolve vendor payment inquiries and communicate pricing errors.
  • Apply customer payments and record payment deductions.
  • Utilize proper G/L accounting options to clear AR transactions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable in a computerized environment.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Understanding of pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in office administrative practices, including record keeping and filing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ERP systems for financial transactions.
  • Strong report writing skills and effective business communication.
