About the position

Camping World is seeking a Payables Receivables Associate to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is essential in supporting our dealerships with various accounting-related tasks. The Payables Receivables Associate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and diligence. In this role, you will be tasked with stocking in new inventory, making general ledger entries, and entering accounts receivable invoices. You will also be responsible for making bank deposits and performing bank reconciliations. Issuing internal invoices and communicating with dealership personnel regarding inventory updates will be part of your daily responsibilities. Data entry will be a significant aspect of your work, requiring accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounts receivable, along with experience in bank reconciliation. Intermediate computer skills, particularly with MS Office including Excel, are essential. You should be self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and organized in your approach to work. Familiarity with auto dealership accounting systems such as IDS, ADP, or Reynolds & Reynolds is beneficial but not mandatory. Additionally, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices is required.

Requirements

  • Diligent and organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in accounts receivable (A/R)
  • Experience in bank reconciliation
  • Intermediate computer knowledge with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Accuracy with 10-key and typing skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and organize schedule
  • Knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems (IDS, ADP, Reynolds & Reynolds) is helpful but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
